America has always been my "house", my neighborhood, my country, my home.
During the upcoming Presidential election, no matter who wins, Obama or McCain, or someone else; I will passionately pray for the continued Liberty and Freedom "my house", my neighborhood, my country has always enjoyed and cherished.
And I will pray God's Wisdom and Guidance will be heard, listened to, accepted and followed by our newly elected leaders. God Bless America!

(Lewis Allen)
The title song of a 1940's Oscar-winning documentary, the catchy tune and these simple lyrics were turned into an instant hit by Frank Sinatra that became an American classic.
"The house I live in, a plot of earth, a street,
The grocer and the butcher and the people that I meet,
The children in the playground, the faces that I see;
All races, all religions, that's America to me.

The house I live in, my neighbors, white and black,
The people who just came here or from generations back;
The town hall and the soap box, the torch of Liberty,
A home for all God's children that's America to me.
The things I see about me, the big things and the small.
The little corner news-stand and the house a mile tall;
The wedding and the churchyard, the laughter and the tears;
The dream that's been growing for two hundred years.
The house I live in, the goodness everywhere;
A land of wealth and beauty with enough for all to share.
A house that we call Freedom, the home of Liberty;
And a promise for tomorrow, that's America to me!"

If you're going to keep censoring me, I guess I might as well make it worth it.
Sending you ALL (Yes, even YOU!)
Light and Love and Laughter!
Have a wonderful weekend!!!
All is well.
God Bless!

Those are very kind words.
Thanks, I had a great weekend and hope you did too. Now let's discuss this comment policy of yours. My two or three posts containing actual substance get censored while the ascii middle finger of frustration stays? I know it's your blog and you can do what you want, but do you really consider that to be intellectually ethical? What kind of content would Jesus censor?
Sorry this isn't a FORUM, but my personal blog. You have your own blog and can express your opinions there. I do respect and value free speech and your right (left?) to your crazy views. I just don't feel it's my obligation to advertise your views on my blog. And I will continue to delete comments as I chose to.
I'm sorry if that hurts your ego, I'm sure you are a nice guy, just
kind of misguided.
Yes, Jesus did cencor on occaision.
He told one of his top disciples,
"Shut up, you dummy!" or "Get thee behind me satan."
I'm just saying.
Anyway, I've had just about all the politics I can stand for a while and will be going back to posts about spiritual things....something you don't seem the least bit interested in, so I guess we can agree to end this discussion and wish each other well. Don't forget to vote!
God Bless!
Bethie
I dunno. Call me crazy but I think if you're going to blog about politics and have comments, you ought to be willing to at least have a discussion with people who may or may not have different opinions. Otherwise, what's the point of blogging? I think it's more about feeling disrespected (which I think there's far too much of in politics today) than a bruise to the ego.
Congrats on the new house, BTW.
Some of us Brits are asking the question "where do American conservatives go after Nov 4th.?"
